About The Position
The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow teachers, and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation while ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The position requires engaging with children indoors and outdoors and participating in physical activity with them. The role is with La Petite Academy, part of Learning Care Group, Inc., which provides childcare and early education programs for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
