About The Position

Weber Human Services (WHS), located in Ogden, Utah serves a growing urban population residing in Weber and Morgan Counties. We are an organization dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. WHS was organized by a cooperative agreement between the Weber and Morgan county governments to serve as the local authority for the provision of their substance abuse, mental health and senior service programs. Weber Human Services is the only organization in the State of Utah providing these services under a single administration. Through dozens of human services programs, WHS helps thousands of its neighbors by supporting and empowering our most vulnerable groups including at-risk youth, the elderly, children, youth and adults suffering from mental illnesses, and those recovering from addictions. As a clinician, you will have daily opportunities to directly impact the lives of others while delivering therapeutic practices based on scientific evidence. We are looking for someone who wants to make their work matter to others and themselves. Your role as a clinician will be to complete assessments, develop diagnoses and individual recovery plans with your clients. You will also work with some seriously awesome people who will help you practice to fidelity and provide incredible supervision. Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work or related field
  • Current Utah license as a CSW/LCSW, ACMHC/CMHC, or AMFT/LMFT in good standing
  • Must maintain license by meeting all requirements of licensure including obtaining requisite CEUs
  • Valid Utah driver license with a clean driving record (no driving violations)
  • Willing and available to work two evenings until 7PM
  • Must be willing to complete a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Approved by DOPL as a trainee (intern) in social work
  • Commit to obtaining full license within 2 years from date of hire, with probationary period continuing for this 2-year period
