About The Position

Centerstone is a leading nonprofit behavioral health system seeking dedicated individuals to join their team. This is a Fall/Winter Clinical Internship opportunity for Master’s-Level Students, requiring 400–600 hours of commitment. The internship starts mid-August, with applications due by July 1. These are limited, competitive placements designed to provide valuable hands-on experience.

Requirements

Working toward a master’s degree as an LPC and within the final year of study.
Interest in gaining experience working with adults, children, and their families.
Demonstrated history of being able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work with data; detail-oriented.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to commit to 20-40 hours a week.
Must fulfill a background check and provide five (5) references as part of the Centerstone onboarding process.

Responsibilities

Supervised and trained by Centerstone staff, working with community members of all ages and their families.
Conduct therapy with individuals and their families who are receiving mental & behavioral health services.
Take client data.
Observe and participate in therapy services.
Conduct individual and family therapy during the internship.
Participate in program duties to ensure the program runs smoothly.
