About The Position

Centerstone is seeking Master's-level students for a Fall/Winter Clinical Internship. This is an unpaid internship opportunity designed to provide supervised training and hands-on experience in behavioral health services. Interns will work with individuals and families of all ages, conducting therapy, observing services, and participating in program duties. The internship requires a commitment of 400-600 hours and offers flexible scheduling, potentially accommodating part-time arrangements.

Requirements

Working toward a master’s degree in social work and within the final year of study
Interest in gaining experience working with adults, children and their families
Demonstrated history of being able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work with data; detail-oriented
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to commit to 20-40 hours a week

Responsibilities

Supervised and trained by Centerstone staff
Conduct therapy with individuals and their families who are receiving mental & behavioral health services
Take client data
Observe and participate in therapy services
Conduct individual and family therapy during time of internship
Participate in program duties to ensure program runs smoothly
