About The Position

Centerstone is seeking Master's-level students for a Fall/Winter Clinical Internship. This internship offers supervised and trained experience working with community members of all ages and their families, conducting therapy, observing services, and participating in program duties. The placement is primarily in elementary school settings within Murfreesboro, Tennessee, providing hands-on experience supporting children and school communities. Scheduling is flexible, accommodating part-time and up to 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Working toward a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy (MFT) and within the final year of study
Interest in gaining experience working with adults, children and their families
Demonstrated history of being able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work with data; detail-oriented
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to commit to 20-40 hours a week

Responsibilities

Supervised and trained by Centerstone staff
Conduct therapy with individuals and their families who are receiving mental & behavioral health services
Take client data
Observe and participate in therapy services
Conduct individual and family therapy during time of internship
Participate in program duties to ensure program runs smoothly
