About The Position

Weber Human Services (WHS), located in Ogden, Utah, serves a growing urban population in Weber and Morgan Counties. WHS is dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. Organized by a cooperative agreement between Weber and Morgan county governments, WHS acts as the local authority for substance abuse, mental health, and senior service programs. It is the only organization in Utah providing these services under a single administration. Through numerous human services programs, WHS assists thousands of neighbors by supporting and empowering vulnerable groups, including at-risk youth, the elderly, children, youth, and adults with mental illnesses, and those recovering from addictions. WHS aims to create hope and opportunities that enable clients and staff to do the work necessary to become their best selves and find joy through people, place, and purpose. As a clinician, you will have daily opportunities to directly impact lives by delivering evidence-based therapeutic practices. The role involves completing assessments, developing diagnoses, and creating individual recovery plans with clients. You will also work with supportive colleagues who will assist in practicing to fidelity and provide supervision.

Requirements

  • Hold a current Utah license as a CSW/LCSW, ACMHC/CMHC, or AMFT/LMFT in good standing
  • Maintain license by meeting all requirements of licensure including obtaining requisite CEU's
  • Master's degree in social work or related field
  • Approved by DOPL as a trainee (intern) in social work
  • Commit to obtaining full license within 2 years from date of hire, with probationary period continuing for this 2-year period
  • Valid Utah driver license with a clean driving record (no driving violations)
  • Willing and available to work two evenings until 7PM
