About The Position

The Master Level Automotive Mechanic performs advanced automotive maintenance and repair, inspects vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshoots issues to ensure vehicles are operating appropriately and customers are taken care of. The role requires in-depth automotive repair knowledge and skilled work diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, including drivetrain, electrical, brake, and air-conditioning systems. The mechanic also performs preventative maintenance and replaces or repairs defective parts.

The mechanic is expected to keep up with changing automotive technology, work effectively both independently and as part of a team, follow company policies and safety standards, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. The position offers weekly pay with an hourly guarantee, guaranteed hours, and no Sunday work.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional auto service and engine diagnostic experience.
• At least 2 ASE certifications.
• Must have technician tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge.
• Provide high-quality service to customers.
• Perform skilled mechanical work, analyzing and diagnosing problems and completing automotive repairs, including drivetrain, electrical, brake, and air-conditioning diagnosis.
• Inspect, replace, and/or repair defective parts and perform preventative maintenance on automobiles.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to keep up with changing automotive technology.

• Work both as part of a team and independently.
