About The Position

Jaguar Land Rover Glen Cove and Land Rover Huntington are seeking Master Automotive Technicians to join their service teams. The role involves inspecting and diagnosing vehicles, carrying out complex repairs and maintenance, documenting work, advising on additional services, and supporting other service staff. A $5,000 signing bonus is available for qualified technicians.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working as a Master Automotive Technician.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good attendance and time-management skills.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to join a team.

Nice To Haves

• Land Rover experience preferred.
• CDK experience strongly preferred.
• Previous automotive dealership experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect vehicles and document their condition based on customer requests or concerns.
• Conduct initial diagnostic testing to identify specific vehicle issues.
• Perform complex maintenance and repairs, including engine replacement, electrical work, and transmission repair.
• Document services and repairs for service advisors and/or customers.
• Identify additional recommended services and communicate them to management.
• Communicate with service staff and/or customers when additional services are required, ensuring information is documented and outlined.
• Assist other service technicians or staff with questions to promote accuracy and efficiency.
• Answer high-level questions from customers and service staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe service department.
