About The Position

Precision Tune Auto Care of North Carolina is seeking an experienced Master Technician to lead the shop, provide exceptional customer service, and perform advanced automotive repairs. The role involves total car care, including diagnostics, maintenance, and complex repairs. The technician mentors teammates, supports productivity and quality, and helps keep the shop organized, safe, and running smoothly. This is a full-time position with pay of $40–$50. The schedule is Monday through Saturday with one day off and a flexible schedule. The shop is closed evenings and Sundays. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance beginning 90 days after hire, enrollment in a 401(k) retirement plan, PTO available after six months, and five paid holidays after 90 days.

Requirements

At least 5 years of advanced automotive repair experience.
Section 609 Certification.
State Inspection license, if applicable.
Strong leadership, collaboration, and customer service skills.
Availability to work Monday through Saturday with one day off; schedule is flexible.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

8 or more ASE certifications (A1–A8) preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair drivability, brake, suspension, engine, electrical, air-conditioning, and computer-system issues.
Perform tasks across all technician levels and assist teammates with complex repairs.
Educate customers about vehicle issues and solutions.
Lead by example, mentor the team, and drive productivity and quality.
Keep the shop organized, safe, and running smoothly.
