About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring an Automotive Master Technician at Napleton Hyundai of Carmel. The technician performs vehicle repair and maintenance according to dealer and factory standards, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to build customer trust and loyalty. Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Technician.
Self-starter with a process-driven approach.
Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
At least 18 years of age to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, fuel and ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, air-conditioning, and computer systems.
Explain technical diagnoses and necessary repairs clearly to non-mechanical employees and customers, as needed.
Continuously update technical skills and techniques through formal training to keep pace with changing automotive technology.
Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
