About The Position

As a Master Esthetician or Cosmetologist at the Cliff Spa, you will provide outstanding service and treatments to guests and help take the Cliff Spa Salon to the next level. You will perform salon treatments such as manicures and pedicures, maintain product knowledge, and promote retail salon products. The position also supports salon operations through inventory, ordering, and cleaning duties.

This is a full-time, year-round position at the Cliff Spa at Snowbird. Shifts vary and are listed as Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Full-time or part-time shifts are available. Weekend and holiday work may be required based on business levels.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold a Utah Master Esthetics or Cosmetologist License.
• Have 1–2 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
• Have salon knowledge and experience.
• Be able to read, write, and communicate through speech.
• Be reliable, mature, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Exercise judgment within policy guidelines and without supervisory approval, and solve problems and initiate activities within job-description and responsibility limits.
• Have a strong understanding of other Snowbird operations.
• Be able to lift 35 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Be able to bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.
• Interact pleasantly with guests and employees and maintain good working relationships.
• Complete a background check before hiring and comply with professional appearance, drug and alcohol, and employee conduct policies.

Responsibilities

• Be dependable, punctual, and responsible for individual shifts.
• Maintain knowledge of all phases of the licensed area and learn about the products and services offered.
• Increase revenue by upselling retail salon products.
• Perform Cliff Spa Salon treatments, including manicures and pedicures.
• Assist with monthly salon duties, including conducting inventory and listing retail and back-bar items to be ordered according to budget.
• Participate in assigned daily and weekly cleaning duties.
• Work weekends and holidays as required by business levels.
