About The Position

The Master Esthetician or Cosmetologist works at the Cliff Spa Salon, providing outstanding service and treatments to guests. The role performs salon services such as manicures, pedicures, facials, hair color, haircuts, and updos. It also involves promoting retail salon products, supporting salon inventory and ordering, and completing assigned cleaning duties. This is a part-time, seasonal position with varying shifts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must hold a Utah Master Esthetics or Cosmetologist License.
• One to two years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
• Salon knowledge and experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate through speech.
• Reliable, mature, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to exercise judgment within policy guidelines and solve problems or initiate activities within job responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of other Snowbird operations.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds, stand for long periods, and bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.
• Must be able to interact pleasantly with guests and employees and maintain good working relationships.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide salon treatments to guests, including manicures, pedicures, facials, hair color, haircuts, and updos.
• Be dependable, punctual, and responsible for assigned shifts.
• Work weekends and holidays as required by business levels.
• Maintain knowledge of all phases of the licensed service area and learn about the products and services offered.
• Increase revenue by upselling retail salon products.
• Assist with monthly salon duties, including conducting inventory and listing retail and back-bar items to be ordered according to budget.
• Participate in assigned daily and weekly cleaning duties.
