About The Position

The Master Data Technician is responsible for manufacturing planning of custom parts. The master data team receives quote output from customer operations and translates that information into manufacturable custom parts for production. The role creates SAP material masters, bills of materials (BOMs), work center routings, and production drawings. It also creates operational master data for parts across multiple product lines and manufacturing processes, updates existing part data when requested by customers or manufacturing, maintains required records and documentation, completes part change requests, and creates part labeling. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Translate quote output from customer operations into manufacturable custom parts for production.
• Create SAP material masters, bills of materials (BOMs), and work center routings.
• Create production drawings and 2-dimensional AutoCAD drawings for manufacturing.
• Create operational master data for parts across multiple product lines and manufacturing processes.
• Execute changes to existing part data when requested by customers or manufacturing.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Complete part change requests.
• Create part labeling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
