About The Position
Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking an energetic, upbeat Master Automotive Technician / Mechanic with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to solving difficult problems and doing what is right for guests. The technician diagnoses and repairs vehicles, builds experience across domestic and foreign vehicles, performs thorough and honest courtesy inspections, and works collaboratively with the service department and other technicians to address guest concerns efficiently and deliver high-quality results. The position is at an independently owned and operated Christian Brothers Automotive location in Forney, Texas. Compensation is listed as $90,000–$120,000 annually, with the posting also noting earnings up to $120,000 based on experience. The shop is closed every weekend.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to serve guests with integrity and excellence.
- At least 7 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Advanced automotive diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
- Strong personal investment in professional tools suitable for a Master-level role.
- Ability to flag 40 or more hours per week based on shop workload.
- ASE A1–A8 certifications required.
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- Desire for continuous learning and long-term career growth.

- ASE Master L1 certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests using automotive knowledge and skills.
- Continuously build experience working on a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
- Follow and promote standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns.
- Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.
