About The Position

The Massage Therapist provides massage therapy services and treatments that complement fitness programs, improve guests’ overall sense of well-being, and enhance their fitness experience while supporting LifeSpa and Salon’s mission, vision, and core values. The therapist designs sessions around guests’ specific needs, recommends schedules for recurring sessions, builds relationships with other club departments, and educates guests about the benefits of massage therapy. The role works with the LifeSpa and Salon team to provide a superior experience in a professional atmosphere.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Massage therapy license.
Ability to perform all types of massage therapy services and treatments.
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions.
Knowledge of basic PC operation.
Ability to stand, walk, reach, lift, and move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Two years of massage experience in a professional environment.
Knowledge of body treatments.
Experience with Salon Biz.

Responsibilities

Greet and serve members in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide individualized massage therapy services and treatments that meet clients’ needs and expectations.
Initiate, develop, and maintain personalized relationships with clients.
Educate clients about LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments.
Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of LifeSpa and Salon.
Serve as an expert in muscle and body analysis and maintenance regimens.
Promote and sell massage therapy services and treatments and encourage repeat business.
Stay current on certifications and new industry trends.
