About The Position

Marksman Security is hiring seasonal Event Security Officers to help create a welcoming and secure environment at events. Officers will monitor access, verify credentials, assist visitors and employees, maintain a visible security presence, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Future full-time permanent opportunities may be available based on job performance. The position pays $17.50 per hour.

Marksman Security is hosting five career fairs. The listed dates are November 5, November 18, December 2, December 10, and December 17; the year is not specified. Career fair hours are 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 240 Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30303, Building 1, Room 1002. Attendees should wear business attire and bring a government ID and resume.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Excellent customer service, professionalism, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Valid driver’s license, if applicable.
• Applicants are subject to a background and fingerprint investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet guests with courtesy and professionalism.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols.
• Communicate and coordinate with the site Director of Security (DOS) regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including guiding people during evacuations or lockdowns.
• Help maintain order by deterring unauthorized access and disruptive behavior.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and assist visitors and employees.
