Marketplace Operations Lead

Turing•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

Turing is hiring a senior individual contributor to own its most challenging talent-matching requests, including US-based roles, unfamiliar role types, and large, urgent hiring pushes. The lead works with project teams to understand requirements, set credible hiring timelines, and ensure talent is assessed, hired, and working by the promised date. When hiring falls behind, this person coordinates sourcing, assessment, talent operations, and onboarding teams, identifies recovery options, and stays accountable through completion. The role owns US-based and specialized hiring end to end, develops reusable playbooks for new role types, and serves as the main contact for project teams. It also tracks hiring performance, reports metrics to leadership, and works hands-on with product and engineering teams to improve the matching platform, AI interviewer, and assessment tools. The lead helps establish standards for planning, communication, escalation, and coaching across the team. The position is based onsite in Turing’s San Francisco or Palo Alto office, with occasional travel. It reports to the Head of Platform Operations. Compensation is $150,000–$230,000 plus equity.
