The marketing team plays a key strategic role in the success of delivering business results and superior customer experiences, and we are looking for a Marketing Specialist - Aftermarket to join our team. The Marketing Specialist - Aftermarket Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring strategic marketing initiatives across various channels in collaboration with the aftermarket product support organization. Responsibilities include translating data and research into actionable marketing plans, developing strategic campaigns that achieve business goals, and understanding our customers’ behaviors and needs. The Marketing Specialist – Aftermarket will gain a thorough understanding of our products, services, and differentiators so that strategies can be developed for more-effective communications and brand awareness. This role will develop and execute marketing campaigns that upsell, cross-sell, and drive sales. The Marketing Specialist- Aftermarket brings strong attention to detail and organization to all projects, and can execute multiple initiatives simultaneously in accordance with the annual marketing plan. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and relationship-builder, skilled in facilitating collaboration across departments, teams, and external parties. Both creative thinking and analytical capability are critical, as the Marketing Specialist - Aftermarket will not only monitor campaign performance and other KPIs but also propose methods for improvement and innovation to drive overall marketing effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Marketing, or a related area of study.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressively more senior responsibilities as it relates to marketing, sales, digital strategy, customer experience, and CRM; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with a retail-centric organization, preference for dealer or franchise-based brands.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute innovative and results-focused marketing programs and campaigns consistent with marketing best practices that result in sustainable growth.
  • Exceptional written, oral and presentation skills with advanced PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, IT, BT, Legal, Sales, and HR.
  • Analytical skills to report KPIs and identify trends and challenges, using data to drive actionable customer-focused insights.
  • A high level of attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Able to interpret business needs into marketing and sales opportunities.
  • Must be passionate about customer experience and demonstrate a willingness to stay up-to-date with an ever-changing list of marketing best practices, new technologies, and new ideas.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and PowerBI.
  • Experience working in CRM tools required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Data Cloud) a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative marketing campaigns that reach our target audience through relevant traditional and digital marketing channels.
  • Identify key target market segments, personas, and stakeholders for marketing programs and ensure that all communications are clear, professional, engaging, and relevant to their audiences.
  • Track and measure budgets to increase marketing effectiveness and productivity.
  • Regularly assess and report on the effectiveness of marketing projects, including campaign ROI, and make recommendations for improvements as necessary.
  • Assist in researching competitors by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising.
  • Support business strategies in gathering and analyzing qualitative and quantitative market and customer data, whether collected by the dealership or a third party.
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to translate data into insights and proposals for profitable growth initiatives.
  • Integrate deeply with internal, front-line aftermarket and product support sales teams to understand business goals, the voice of customers, customer segmentation, and critical performance gaps and opportunities.
  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns and initiatives to achieve annual business plans and multi-year growth goals.
  • Create intentional and personalized customer experiences by shifting traditional go-to-market plans from product-driven to customer-centric.
  • Assist in customer data-mining efforts and deploy business development skills to identify new opportunities for the dealership in existing or undeveloped markets.
  • Partner with the digital marketing, eCommerce, and product support sales teams in developing the strategy, design, and content across traditional and digital channels.
  • Maintain a good understanding of current OEM campaigns and communicate offers with the business.
  • Lead the creation of marketing collateral and other support materials to achieve business objectives.
  • Become a brand advocate by reviewing marketing materials to ensure consistency across digital platforms, collateral, merchandise, and print communications.
