About The Position

Ratcliff, a Bay Area architecture firm specializing in academic, civic, and healthcare projects throughout Northern California, is hiring a Marketing Pursuit and Graphics Specialist for its marketing team. The role creates proposals and pursuit materials for public and private clients and supports broader marketing efforts, including social media, project photography, and data management. The position is based near I-80 in Emeryville, California, and offers flexible hybrid scheduling. Applicants should include writing and graphic/page layout samples.

Requirements

At least 2–3 years of professional experience in the AEC industry as a marketer and/or graphic designer.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft 365.
Strong writing, graphic design, storytelling, and communication skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to manage varying workloads under tight deadlines while maintaining a calm demeanor.
Self-motivation, creativity, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Working knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint CRM.

Responsibilities

Track marketing pursuit leads and coordinate a Go/No-Go response calendar.
Lead production of marketing packages responding to Requests for Qualifications and Requests for Proposals; identify content requirements, writing assignments, and deadlines.
Proofread final documentation, ensure its integrity, and oversee production and distribution.
Maintain Adobe InDesign templates and brand standards.
Develop branded marketing collateral, including infographics, icons, and charts, as needed.
Assist with external communications, including social media and project photography.
Conduct business development-related research in support of the Director.
