About The Position

Sweetwater, the nation's number one online retailer of music instruments and pro audio gear, is seeking to add an organized, dedicated, and tactful Marketing Project Coordinator to our growing Marketing Operations team! as the Marketing Project Coordinator, you will work closely and collaboratively with all members of the marketing team to intake, organize, and articulate requests, develop and manage timelines, and clearly communicate key actions and expectations to ensure projects and campaigns are delivered successfully. You will be responsible for managing project requests, collecting assets, scheduling, trafficking and providing updates on all marketing projects. You will work closely with marketing senior leadership and serve as a single point of contact on marketing projects, actively monitoring progress of projects to keep them on schedule and providing updates to key internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of marketing campaigns and projects by providing project management and/or executional support under the direction of a lead.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, or related field is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once under tight deadlines
  • 1-3+ years of experience in marketing, project management, or prior communications/customer service roles
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively move multiple projects forward at once

Responsibilities

  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to review and document all incoming project requests
  • Coordinate and clarify strategic requirements, while ensuring the team has all the information needed to advance projects forward
  • Responsible for effectively coordinating resources and capacity in order to establish, document, and track project timelines and milestones
  • Act as the primary project point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Maintain status and knowledge of ongoing projects and apprise senior management of progress and changes
  • Schedule, facilitate, and document project kickoff and status meetings with appropriate team members and key stakeholders
  • Work with leadership and project team members to identify, analyze, monitor, and resolve issues and risks associated with the project timelines to ensure ability to achieve project goals
