About The Position

ClearGov is seeking a proven Marketing Operations Manager with a strong desire to win, a kind heart, an unwavering team spirit, a positive attitude, and a great sense of humor to join their marketing team. This role is responsible for managing marketing operations, including the systems, processes, and workflows that support marketing demand generation. The Marketing Operations Manager will work closely with industry leaders, designers, developers, and program managers to implement all programmatic and operational initiatives. This is a key and critical role on ClearGov’s commercial operations team, vital for the company's future success.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of marketing operations leadership experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com and Marketo.
  • Experience building campaign tools.
  • Knowledge of database management concepts and best practices.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
  • A roll-up-your-sleeves, get stuff done approach to the day-to-day.
  • Strong independent project management skills.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision.
  • Able to think critically and exercise independent judgment and discretion.
  • A commitment to helping build a positive company culture.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the Marketo integration with Salesforce CRM and integrating additional platforms into the marketing automation software as needed.
  • Understanding and evaluating campaign metrics and distributing campaign performance to the marketing team.
  • Working with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance, and make recommendations for continuous campaign improvement.
  • Managing marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
  • Planning and performing A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth.
  • Supporting essential marketing operations initiatives in Marketo and Salesforce, such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing.
  • Serving as the operational business partner to the CMO and marketing leadership.
