About The Position

The Marketing Operations Manager will be a driving force behind the company's growth by building, running, and sharpening marketing programs that convert into qualified sales opportunities for their tax consulting services. This role serves as a vital link between marketing and sales, aiming to turn every marketing investment into real pipeline and revenue. The position will own marketing technology, campaigns, lead management, and analytics, while leading targeted programs, industry events, thought leadership, and client engagement. The ideal candidate will possess operational rigor combined with B2B professional services marketing instincts, with a passion for attracting, nurturing, and converting prospects into qualified opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, marketing operations, or professional services marketing.
  • Proven track record of generating qualified leads and contributing to measurable sales pipeline growth.
  • Experience managing CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong understanding of B2B lead generation and sales funnel management.
  • Experience developing campaigns that engage executive-level and financial decision-makers.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, marketing, and consulting teams.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on revenue impact and business growth.

  • Experience supporting consulting, advisory, financial services, tax, accounting, legal or other professional services organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Design and launch lead generation programs across digital, email, content, events, and industry-specific channels to fuel the tax advisory pipeline.
  • Build lead scoring, qualification, and nurturing processes in close partnership with sales.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns to boost conversion rates and lower cost per lead.
  • Own and optimize the marketing tech stack (CRM, automation, event and reporting tools) and maintain data integrity.
  • Generate clear reporting on pipeline contribution, campaign ROI, and marketing-sales alignment.
  • Build scalable workflows to ensure smooth operation of marketing processes.
  • Shape and manage the annual marketing strategy and budget, tied directly to revenue objectives.
  • Partner with tax experts to create compelling content such as case studies, thought leadership, and webinars.
  • Lead high-impact tradeshows, conferences, and client events end-to-end.
  • Manage vendor and industry relationships.
  • Act as the go-to market voice in sales planning and pipeline reviews, aligning initiatives with business growth priorities.
  • Translate market insight into smarter processes and new growth opportunities.
