About The Position

HP Tuners LLC is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager for a short-term contract of 3.5 months to cover a maternity leave. This role is responsible for managing the development and execution of marketing initiatives, including strategic messaging, brand positioning, and marketing campaigns. The position involves assisting in the oversight of team projects, calendaring, cross-functional communication, and follow-through. The role requires a frequent presence at the company headquarters in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, and involves 40 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or related field or have 6 or more years of work experience/skill development.
  • Assume responsibility for complex issues and problems.
  • Perform work independently with a high level of precision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Monday.com.
  • Knowledge of and/or passion for the automotive aftermarket industry.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the project manager on the marketing team to manage current and upcoming campaigns, release calendars, task completion, and more.
  • Own management of Monday.com PM software and communications to the marketing team on product and project updates and changes. Ensure projects and tasks are recorded and assigned on Monday.com.
  • Maintain and manage internal marketing processes and procedures within Monday.com and elsewhere, including work instructions, processes, guidelines, and more.
  • Be the main point-of-contact for marketing to the sales and engineering teams. Maintain strong communications with both teams to manage upcoming vehicle support & product releases and other relevant marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Creative Lead and Director of Marketing to manage the production of all marketing materials, ensuring they are set up to reach the correct channels with optimized messaging.
  • Work with Creative Lead to manage the creation of marketing communications.
  • Own marketing metric capture across all departments within the marketing team including email marketing, social media, website, and digital advertising.
  • Create metric reports on a monthly basis and own weekly and bi-weekly metric status sheets.
  • Approach all work with a keen analytical mindset, applying critical thinking and strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Implement on-the-fly adjustments as directed, responding swiftly to constructive feedback from marketing team members.
  • Maintain a high level understanding of the company product portfolio and competing products.
  • Attend and work assigned domestic trade shows, races, and other promotional events when needed.
