About The Position

Windows on Washington is a highly reputable exterior home improvement company that has served homeowners in Northern Virginia and Maryland since 2005. We specialize in premium replacement windows and doors and have earned a stellar reputation by providing a client-focused, stress-free experience, which we call the "WoW Factor." As we look to the future, we are seeking a leader to build upon this established legacy and identify new avenues for strategic growth. This role reports directly to our General Manager. Windows on Washington seeks an analytical, hands-on Marketing Manager to own and develop our entire marketing function. This is a high-impact, execution-focused role for a leader who knows how to build and deploy a marketing plan, manage a budget, and optimize performance channels. You will be the primary driver of brand awareness and lead generation, managing one direct report and partnering closely with the sales and operations teams to translate market data, ROAS, and KPI performance into actionable growth plans that fuel our expansion into new markets. You will report to our General Manager and be accountable for marketing performance on the brand leadership team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Marketing Management, or related field.
  • 5 or more years of experience within a marketing leadership position.
  • Demonstrated success in a marketing leadership role, with the ability to work hands-on while collaborating across departments.
  • Proven ability to build, deploy, and own an end-to-end marketing plan and optimize channels.
  • Track record of driving lead generation and measuring lead quality.
  • Experience managing paid media, SEO, company website, and third-party agencies or vendors.
  • Strong analytical sophistication: comfortable with numbers, calculations, ROAS, and KPI interpretation, and able to translate complex data into actionable strategy.
  • A growth mindset and sound judgment on strategy and financial returns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end marketing strategy for Windows on Washington, from building the plan and channel strategy through hands-on execution, accountable for both brand awareness and lead volume.
  • Drive and manage the marketing budget, including allocation across channels to hit revenue targets.
  • Prioritize lead generation across diverse digital channels while collaborating closely with the sales and operations teams.
  • Manage all digital channels, including paid advertising, and analyze ROAS and KPI performance to inform spend decisions.
  • Own Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and manage and evaluate website performance.
  • Oversee and manage third-party agencies and vendors, setting benchmarks and holding partners accountable.
  • Own brand management, including brand image, refresh initiatives, physical brand elements, voice, and messaging.
  • Manage and develop one direct report.
  • Build the expansion strategy and go-to-market approach for new geographic areas (DC, Virginia, and the South), accounting for regional marketing differences.
  • Develop a future-state partnerships strategy, starting hyperlocal and evolving as the company grows.
