About The Position

At Elevate Credit Union, we're looking for a Marketing Manager who takes a practical, results-focused approach to marketing - someone who values what works, keeps things simple, and works well with others to get it done. This role is part of our leadership team and is responsible for guiding day-to-day marketing efforts, supporting organizational goals, and ensuring marketing activities are effective, well-coordinated, and aligned with priorities. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who has prior experience leading marketing efforts and people within an organization and can step into this role with a strong foundation. This is a hands-on, practical marketing role that works within clear organizational priorities and direction. You won't just guide marketing efforts - you'll stay close to the work and step in to support execution when needed to keep things moving. Success in this role comes from clear thinking, strong follow-through, and the ability to keep things simple and effective. Our marketing approach is focused on doing the right things well.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on marketing experience
  • Typically requires 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Experience coordinating marketing efforts across departments, including gathering input, aligning priorities, and keeping projects moving
  • Proven experience leading or supervising others, including assigning work, providing direction, and supporting team performance
  • Experience using digital marketing tools (e.g., email platforms, website updates, and basic reporting)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with the ability to create or edit marketing materials that are clear, polished, and aligned with brand standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
  • Strong written communication skills, with attention to clarity, tone, and accuracy

  • Experience working within an organization (not solely self-employed or freelance) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of day-to-day marketing work, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and on time
  • Coordinate marketing efforts across digital, in-branch, and departmental channels, working closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and consistency
  • Plan and prioritize marketing campaigns that support lending, deposit growth, and member engagement
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of marketing materials as needed, including emails, graphics, and in-branch content
  • Ensure messaging is clear, accurate, compliant, and consistent across all channels
  • Work with external vendors and tools as needed, using outside resources thoughtfully to support marketing efforts
  • Track results and adjust efforts based on what's working
  • Supervise and support marketing staff (currently two team members)
