People Inc. is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our Lifestyle team, contributing to the category strategy and revenue for our Travel vertical. In close partnership with the Travel Digital Sales team and Travel/Luxury Print Sales team, you will manage the pre-sale process and play a strategic role in driving revenue growth with advertising partners. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing on the Travel vertical. This hybrid role, based in NYC, requires a minimum of three days in the office each week. This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week. The Travel Sales Marketing Lead is responsible for managing proactive and RFP responses, creating smart, strategic ideas for advertising partners in the Travel vertical. This role collaborates across the People Inc. portfolio to create sellable opportunities for advertisers that are grounded in our brand’s most influential franchises and tentpoles. The role leads internal conversations with People Inc. brands and verticals to communicate high-value opportunities to the Travel sales team on a regular basis. Ideas are brought to life through well-written and visually-appealing proposals that represent our brands, capabilities, and ideas flawlessly. The role partners closely with Editorial, Content Strategy, Research, Account Strategy, and Design to ensure proposals effectively communicate our unique value proposition. The role develops strong relationships with the sales team to become experts on their business and provides support on client calls, as needed.
