About The Position

This role is for a Marketing Lead Development Representative on the Global Marketing Response Center (MRC) team, focusing on engaging with new and prospective AWS customers. The MRC team is the customer engagement arm of the Marketing organization, responsible for learning customer needs, educating them about AWS services, and facilitating their cloud and AI journey. This is a critical function in the demand progression process, aiming to profile, nurture, and qualify marketing leads from various sources to drive customer adoption of AWS. The position offers opportunities for skill development in marketing and sales for long-term career growth within the rapidly expanding Cloud Computing and AI sectors.

Requirements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience in customer engagement
  • Experience with cross functional project or program delivery
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Build an AWS leads database by interacting with customers by phone, email and/or live chat
  • Respond to customers’ inquiries in a timely manner to accelerate their cloud journey
  • Educate customers that are in the beginning of the cloud journey and move them from warm or little interest to active interest.
  • Nurture leads with tailored messaging to increase customer understanding of AWS services and unique differentiators with relevant customer use cases.
  • Through nurture efforts, create higher value leads resulting in higher conversion rates.
  • Actively leverage AI to catalyze productivity and globalize any break-through solutions through structured scaling programs.
