About The Position

This role is for a Marketing Lead Development Representative within the Global Marketing Response Center (MRC) team, focusing on engaging with new and prospective AWS customers. The MRC is the customer engagement arm of the Marketing organization, responsible for learning from customers, understanding their needs, and educating them about AWS services to facilitate their cloud and AI journey. It plays a critical role in the demand progression process by profiling, nurturing, and qualifying leads from various marketing initiatives. The position offers opportunities for skill-building in marketing and sales for long-term career growth within the rapidly expanding fields of Cloud Computing and AI.

Requirements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience in customer engagement
  • Experience using sales CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • Experience delivering cross functional projects

  • Experience using data visualization tools
  • Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies related to Cloud Computing and AI
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where customer needs and business priorities evolve rapidly.

Responsibilities

  • Build an AWS leads database by interacting with customers by phone, email and/or live chat
  • Respond to customers’ inquiries in a timely manner to accelerate their cloud journey
  • Educate customers that are in the beginning of the cloud journey and move them from warm or little interest to active interest.
  • Nurture leads with tailored messaging to increase customer understanding of AWS services and unique differentiators with relevant customer use cases.
  • Through nurture efforts, create higher value leads resulting in higher conversion rates.
  • Actively leverage AI to catalyze productivity and globalize any break-through solutions through structured scaling programs.
