About The Position

The Marketing Events Specialist provides marketing support to Loma Linda University Health by coordinating and executing sponsorships and events in cooperation with hospitals and departments across the system. The position may perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, marketing, or a related field.
• At least two years of marketing experience; healthcare marketing experience is preferred.
• Working understanding of databases, word-processing, and desktop-publishing programs.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Able to work in intensive support activities in a high-productivity, goal- and deadline-oriented environment.
• Strategic thinking, clear and concise communication, attention to detail, follow-through on multiple projects, deadline awareness, persistence, and assertiveness.
• Tactful, cheerful, sensitive, diplomatic, and a team player; willing to work through deadlines, with overtime often required.
• Able to recognize visitors' faces and voices; hear sufficiently for telephone and in-person communication and identify workplace sounds; distinguish colors as necessary; and see adequately to read computer screens and written documents.
• Must understand and embrace Loma Linda University Health's mission, purpose, and identity.
