Responsibilities

  • Create digital and printed images, copy, and designs for public presentation of Eden Foods, including labels, brochures, boxes, bags, advertisements, and documents.
  • Create messages and imagery to advance the Company’s goals and the availability of the food it sells.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, marketing industry companies, and their personnel.
  • Create and oversee accurate, up-to-date, and organized business records and files for the Marketing Department and the Company.
  • Interface Marketing Dept. works in a timely and efficient manner with the other Eden Foods Departments and facilities.
  • Interface the Marketing Dept. with other companies and industry participants in the best interests of Eden Foods.
  • Organize efficient utilization of the Department’s personnel for the Department's work and projects.
  • Oversee the Department's budgets in a manner consistent with the Department’s priorities and deadlines.
  • Manage the Department’s business systems.
  • Create SOPs and work instructions as necessary.
  • Identify, vet, and select appropriate suppliers.
  • Gather and record pertinent information about suppliers.
  • Negotiate competitive pricing, purchase quantities, and lead times with suppliers.
  • Transition Marketing Dept. purchasing of Eden inventory to the Purchasing Department after supplier quality, specifications, methodologies, and acquisition details are in place for new or updated print or images with Marketing-chosen suppliers.
  • Collaborate with other Eden Departments and facilities for review, feedback, and to ensure accurate billing for goods and services.
  • Track materials and asset receipts, manage incoming part disposition, and support change notices for revised art and components.
  • Communicate relevant details and subject matter to Eden Sales, Purchasing, Inventory Management, IT, and Accounting regarding the projects, changes, and updates undertaken by Marketing.
  • Maintain accurate business records, supplier data, and ERP system oversight to ensure intended results and avoid contradictory (cross-purpose) activity.
  • Build, launch, and manage paid campaigns across search and social channels like Google Ads, Meta, and Programmatic Digital Ads.
  • Review digital and print media analytics to measure effort results, inform future strategy, and report it monthly to the Department manager.
  • Report monthly to the other Eden Departments the details of Marketing outreach to the public and industry.
  • Become and remain knowledgeable about food regulatory rules.
  • Make necessary judgment calls concerning nutritional information and its use in Marketing and Sales efforts.
  • Conduct business analysis, be able to summarize it, and provide recommendations for effective tactics and strategies.
