About The Position

Eagle Communications is seeking a Marketing Consultant in Maryville, MO, to partner with local businesses and help them succeed through creative, multi-platform campaigns. This role involves establishing and growing the company's presence in a new radio market, leading sales efforts, building client relationships, and developing a territory. The position focuses on working directly with local business owners, organizations, and regional advertisers to develop and sell strategic marketing campaigns using a mix of radio, digital, social media, streaming, and community events. The ideal candidate will be motivated, people-oriented, and thrive on building relationships and creating solutions in a small-town setting.

Requirements

1–3 years of outside sales, marketing, or media experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate with strong interpersonal skills and a local connection).
Strong connection to Maryville/Nodaway County is a plus.
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
A community-first mindset with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
Self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

Develop strong relationships with new and existing advertisers in the Maryville and Northwest Missouri area.
Identify business needs and present tailored marketing strategies using a mix of radio, digital, social media, streaming, and community events.
Prospect for new business through in-person visits, networking events, university partnerships, and local engagement.
Maintain regular face-to-face client meetings to discuss campaign performance and growth opportunities.
Stay actively involved in the community to understand market trends and represent Eagle at community events.
