About The Position

Sagard is seeking a Marketing Communications Coordinator in Montreal or Toronto, to drive operational excellence and marketing execution across the firm. This role ensures professional polish and operational clarity across high-priority, executive, and client-facing initiatives, with a focus on marketing coordination, brand governance, and event support. Reporting to the VP, Marketing Communications, this position is ideal for a detail-oriented, hands-on individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and balances creative delivery with disciplined execution.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing coordination, communications, or similar roles
  • Advanced PowerPoint and/or Google Slides skills with strong visual sensibility
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and editorial judgment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Hands-on and proactive; comfortable operating as a doer who anticipates needs and brings structure to ambiguity
  • Meticulous about polish and presentation quality; strong sense of brand consistency and tone
  • Composed under pressure with the ability to manage multiple moving parts without quality loss
  • Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written, is mandatory (for Quebec positions)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms preferred
  • Experience in financial services, professional services, or corporate environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build and refine PowerPoint and Google Slides presentations aligned with brand standards; convert draft content into polished, visually cohesive deliverables
  • Maintain consistent fonts, layouts, formatting, and visual hierarchy across all materials; support the development of presentation templates
  • Clean up documents for executive and client-facing distribution
  • Build and format newsletters and emails in HubSpot once content is finalized; ensure communications are visually clean and on-brand
  • Support CRM administration, data hygiene, and template maintenance
  • Track timelines and deliverables across marketing initiatives to ensure on-time execution
  • Draft short-form content (e.g., social media posts); review materials for clarity, grammar, and tone; provide final proofreading before distribution
  • Support content production across written, video, and audio formats
  • Assist with AGM, advisor events, team offsites, and corporate functions, including registration, guest lists, event materials, on-site coordination, and post-event follow-up
  • Manage calendar coordination, meeting logistics, and travel arrangements for the CAO
  • Prepare and submit expense reports accurately and on time (CAO and VP Marketing)
  • Prepare meeting materials (agendas, print packages, briefing notes) and coordinate meeting logistics
  • Support onboarding logistics for new marketing team members
  • Organize and maintain records on Google Drive
