About The Position

Global Construction, a subsidiary of Kapella Group, is a commercial general contractor headquartered in Centennial, Colorado, with operations in Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Florida, and Wyoming. The company is expanding its business development team with a professional focused on client acquisition and marketing and proposal strategies. Reporting to the Director of Business Development and working closely with the Marketing Manager, this hybrid role combines proactive business development with strategic marketing support. About half of the role focuses on outbound lead generation: researching target enterprises, identifying decision-makers, and initiating conversations to secure meetings for the business development leadership team. The remaining focus is supporting active pursuits through CRM pipeline organization, follow-up management, and the production of proposals, qualification packages, and marketing collateral. Outbound prospecting is a core weekly responsibility; this is not a pure social media or graphic design role. Compensation is a base salary of $60,000 to $72,000 per year, determined by relevant background. Payroll is weekly.

Requirements

  • 1 to 5 years of practical experience in marketing coordination, business development, proposal coordination, or sales development.
  • Comfort with proactive cold calls and targeted emails as regular weekly activities.

  • Strong writing, proofreading, and editorial skills.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple deadlines and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to persistently follow up with prospective clients using a consultative, low-pressure approach.
  • Working familiarity with CRM software, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, SharePoint/Teams, and Adobe software tools.

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to prepare proposals, statements of qualifications (SOQs), qualification packages, client presentations, project profiles, team resumes, and targeted marketing collateral.
  • Update and maintain marketing collateral, project photography, and digital content across web and social media channels.
