The primary purpose of this position is to develop, coordinate, direct, and administer the facility’s marketing and public relations programs and services. This role involves planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing public relations and marketing programs to maintain and increase census and provide the community with accurate information about the facility, its programs, and services. The Marketer will also develop and maintain policies and procedures regarding information release, assist department directors, and oversee customer satisfaction surveys. They will ensure all public materials are accurate and up-to-date, manage internal communications, and provide creative support for resident programs. Maintaining positive relationships with families, residents, and community leaders, coordinating with news media, and managing public relations during emergencies are key aspects of this role. Additionally, the Marketer will assist in training, create a positive atmosphere, manage the departmental operating budget, and serve on committees as directed. Maintaining resident confidentiality and interpreting resident rights are also essential functions. This position includes direct or indirect supervisory responsibilities.
