About The Position

To join CLEAResult as a Market Outreach Specialist, supporting our New Jersey Energy Efficiency Program team. This role will help us build utility program awareness and drive participation in various energy efficiency programs. In this high-impact role, you will identify, prospect, and engage with new leads through in-person events, calls, emails, and social channels. Once engaged, you will passionately present energy efficiency program options to potential participants and trade allies.

Requirements

  • 2-4 Years’ experience with customer management.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook/Word/Teams/PPT)
  • Strong communication skills, including technical communication for trade allies and presentation / storytelling skills for all audiences

Nice To Haves

  • BPI certification, HVAC experience, or other mechanical subject matter expertise

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand a network of HVAC distributor and supply chain houses within a defined utility client’s service territory to support the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Recruit, train, educate and develop relationships with contractors and other Trade Allies to encourage participation in energy efficiency programs.
  • Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads, and drive program growth through community engagement by delivering informative and persuasive program presentations.
  • Identify and engage community groups and strategic partners, such as community green teams, contractors, distributors, and various agencies (HOAs, faith-based organizations etc), to establish alliances and leverage their networks to expand our reach and drive opportunities.
  • Perform event planning, coordination, and presentations of programs at relevant events and tradeshows.
  • Travel extensively across utility client’s service territory for events and networking opportunities.
  • Ensure operational excellence by communicating critical information to program management to improve recruitment and participation volumes.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity reports and track progress toward program recruitment goals.
  • Deliver results on daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPI goals.
