About The Position

Brock University is seeking Marker-Graders for ITIS 2P91 D2 & D3. This role involves marking assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams. The marker-grader will provide written feedback to students, identifying the basis of the grade assigned, including content, written communication, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure. Additionally, the marker-grader may be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations or enter grades into databases as requested by the course instructor. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group within Management of Info Systems & Technology. Requirements

  • Proven competency in the subject area.
  • A minimum of 80% in the course being applied for (or equivalent).
  • An overall average of 80%.
  • Excellent English Language Skills.
  • Academic Integrity and Professionalism.
  • Proven track record of working effectively and completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Members shall not accept any appointment which, taken together with all other appointments at the University, would cause the member to exceed the maximum number of regular hours (i.e., not overtime hours) allowable in a work week under the Employment Standards Act, as amended from time to time.

Responsibilities
