About The Position
Brock University is seeking a Marker-Grader for the MATH 1P97 Fall D2 course. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 Employee Group. The marker-grader will be responsible for assessing student work and providing feedback. The role may also involve invigilating mid-terms and examinations, and entering grades into databases. Requirements
- A grade of 80% or higher in MATH 1P97.
- Minimum of second-year complete in a Mathematics or Statistics program.
- Achieved an “A” standing in at least 4 credits in Mathematics and/or Statistics.
- Ability to follow instructions and guidelines for marking assessments.
- Ability to meet deadlines set by the course instructor.
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, whether due to substantive content, or to written communications, including spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization of the submission.
- May be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, or enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
