About The Position
This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for ACTG 4P97 Fall Accounting Analytics Compensation Marker-Grader positions. These positions are paid according to the qualifications the employee holds. Compensation rates vary based on degree completion, ranging from First Year Complete ($19.00/hour) to Master’s Degree Complete ($36.00/hour), effective September 1, 2026. Due to limited hours, not all positions may move beyond the posting stage, and positions are subject to course enrollments and budgetary approval.
Requirements
- Must have completed ACTG 3P97 (or equivalent in English) and attained a grade of 80% or higher.
- Graduate of or Major in Accounting with a minimum major average of 75%.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
- Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, whether due to substantive content, or to written communications, including spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization of the submission.
- May be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course.
- May be expected to enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
