About The Position

Brock University is seeking Marker-Graders for the HLSC 4P40 Fall D2 course. This role involves marking assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams. The marker-grader will provide written feedback to students, identifying the basis of the grade assigned. Additionally, marker-graders may be asked to invigilate mid-terms and examinations or enter grades into databases at the request of the course instructor. Compensation is based on the highest degree or level of study completed.

Requirements

• An undergraduate degree in Health Sciences or a related discipline.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Available to provide feedback in person and, when required, online.

Nice To Haves

• Brock fourth year (honours) students in Health Sciences or related discipline will be considered if vacancies remain.
• Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset.
• Completion of this course within the last three years is an asset.
• Experience or training with online synchronous and asynchronous course support.
• Proficiency with online delivery tools (e.g., Lifesize, Microsoft Teams, Brightspace), computer spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), and electronic audience response systems.
