About The Position

Brock University is seeking a Marker-Grader for the COSC 3P97 Mobile Computing course for the Fall 2026 academic term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 employee group. Compensation for this role is based on the qualifications of the employee, with rates effective September 1, 2026. Requirements

• Must have completed COSC 3P97 (or equivalent in English) and attained a grade of 80% or higher
• Graduate of or Major in Computer Science with a minimum major average of 75%
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines

Nice To Haves

• Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams.
• Provide written feedback to students that clearly identifies the basis of the grade assigned, whether it is due to substantive content, or to written communications, including spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization of the submission.
• May be expected to invigilate mid-terms and examinations for this course, or enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.
