About The Position

River Valley Marine is hiring a Marine Sales Professional / Boat Sales Specialist in Red Wing, MN. This role is for a driven, relationship-focused sales professional with a passion for boating, marine products, and the outdoor lake lifestyle who is ready to build a long-term, high-earning career in boat sales. This is an opportunity to represent premium new and pre-owned boats while working with qualified buyers making meaningful, high-value recreational investments. You will be part of a Top 10 Marine Dealer in North America with strong inventory, strong marketing support, and a proven sales process designed for success. We are especially interested in candidates with experience in marine sales, automotive sales, RV sales, powersports, or luxury/high-ticket retail sales who are ready to grow their income and book of business.

Requirements

  • Proven success in commission-based or high-ticket sales
  • Confident building trust and long-term customer relationships
  • Motivated by performance, income growth, and closing deals
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
  • Can learn and present technical product information
  • Self-driven, disciplined, and consistent in follow-up
  • Experience with CRM systems (Lightspeed / LightspeedEVO preferred)
  • Passion for boating or the lake lifestyle (strong advantage)

Responsibilities

  • Sell new and pre-owned boats and marine products in a consultative sales environment
  • Guide customers through the full buying journey from first contact to delivery and follow-up
  • Build long-term relationships that generate repeat and referral business
  • Develop deep product knowledge across boats, engines, features, and competing brands
  • Follow a structured, proven dealership sales process
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and premium showroom presentation
  • Consistently follow up with prospects and existing customers
  • Participate in boat shows, events, and dealership promotions
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and team members to achieve performance goals
  • Deliver a high-end customer experience aligned with the #RVPSExperience
