About The Position

The Boating Specialist in Fiberglass Boat Sales is a key role within our organization. This position is responsible for effectively promoting and selling fiberglass boats to potential customers, playing a significant role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, preferably in the marine or boating industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of fiberglass boats.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Customer-centric approach with excellent communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in sales software and CRM tools.
  • Flexibility for weekend work and travel.
  • Ethical sales practices.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential customers interested in purchasing fiberglass boats.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing expert advice.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of fiberglass boats, including features, specifications, and benefits.
  • Deliver persuasive and informative presentations to highlight the advantages of our fiberglass boats.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to understand customer needs and recommend suitable boat options.
  • Arrange and conduct boat demonstrations and sea trials.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for customers.
  • Negotiate sales terms effectively, including pricing, financing, and delivery.
  • Assist customers with sales contracts and necessary paperwork.
  • Provide comprehensive support throughout the sales process.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities and updates.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor products.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass sales targets and objectives.
  • Generate new sales leads through various methods.
  • Conduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work with sales and marketing teams on sales strategies.
  • Attend boat shows and industry events as required.
