About The Position

River Valley Marine is actively hiring a Marine Sales Consultant in Rochester, MN. We are seeking proven sales professionals with a background in luxury sales, high-ticket retail, automotive sales, RV sales, or commissioned sales environments who are ready to transition into the marine industry. If you are a motivated salesperson who enjoys building relationships, guiding customers through major purchases, and growing a long-term book of business, this is an opportunity to represent premium boats and marine products with a Top 10 Marine Dealer in North America.

Requirements

• 2+ years of high-ticket sales experience (automotive, RV, powersports, luxury retail, etc.)
• Strong closing skills and negotiation ability
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven
• CRM experience (Lightspeed / LightspeedEVO preferred)

Nice To Haves

• Marine or boating knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Sell new and pre-owned boats and marine products
• Guide customers through a professional, consultative buying experience
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Follow up on leads, prospects, and past customers
• Maintain deep knowledge of boats, features, and competitive brands
• Execute River Valley Marine’s proven sales process
• Participate in boat shows, events, and promotions
• Maintain a polished, professional showroom and personal presentation
