The purpose of the Marine Sales Representative position is to contribute to the growth of the organization through sales of new business via inspection and/or services sales. This role involves acquiring sales leads, providing both outside and inside sales, and soliciting various marine-related businesses and professionals. The representative will lead the sales process from initial contact to contract acquisition, generate new and foster existing customer relationships, and create proposals. They will also attend internal and external meetings, act as a face of the company, and provide general assistance to management, technicians, and accounting personnel. Additionally, the role involves assisting with marketing activities, attending industry events, and utilizing accounting software. The individual must be a self-starter, organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and follow-through skills.
