About The Position

River Valley Marine is hiring a Luxury Marine Sales Consultant in Minnetonka, MN, serving one of the most affluent boating markets in the Midwest. We are seeking a polished, relationship-driven sales professional who understands high-end clientele, luxury retail sales, and long-term client development—ideally someone who already has a passion for boating, lake life, and premium marine products. This is a unique opportunity to represent elite boat brands, wake boats, pontoons, and luxury marine products in a high-demand, high-income market. You will work with educated, experienced buyers who value expertise, professionalism, and a premium customer experience. This role is best suited for candidates with experience in luxury sales, yacht sales, automotive sales, RV sales, or other high-ticket commission-based sales roles who are ready to build a long-term book of business in the marine industry.

Requirements

  • Experience in luxury sales, marine sales, yacht sales, automotive sales, or RV sales preferred
  • Proven ability to close high-value transactions and exceed sales goals
  • Strong relationship-building skills with high-net-worth or discerning clients
  • Professional presence, communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Experience with CRM systems (Lightspeed / LightspeedEVO a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Sell new and pre-owned boats, wake boats, pontoons, and luxury marine products
  • Deliver a refined, high-end customer experience from first interaction through delivery
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with affluent and repeat clientele
  • Manage leads, follow-ups, and the full sales lifecycle
  • Maintain expert knowledge of marine products, features, and competitive brands
  • Present inventory in a way that reflects a premium retail environment
  • Participate in boat shows, private client events, and on-water demonstrations
  • Maintain a professional appearance and strong communication standards
