About The Position
Sheridan New Hampshire is hiring four full-time Manufacturing Technicians to work on a production floor making books, catalogs, and other printed materials. The company will train employees to operate and set up high-speed bindery equipment. The role is described as a stable career opportunity with room to learn skilled equipment and advance. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with overtime opportunities. A $1,000 hiring bonus is advertised.
Requirements
- Experience operating machinery in any industry, such as manufacturing, warehousing, or trades.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort using basic tools.
- Ability to read basic job instructions and measurements, including decimals and sizes.
- Pride in producing quality work.
- Reliability and ability to work well with a team.
Nice To Haves
- Press, bindery, or finishing experience.
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment, including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders.
- Make machine adjustments and monitor quality to keep equipment running smoothly.
- Work with the team to meet daily production goals.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot minor issues to keep production moving.
- Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
