About The Position

Westaff is hiring Manufacturing Technicians in Waltham, MA. This role involves executing consumables manufacturing processes according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining strict adherence to quality standards and efficiency metrics, and operating in cleanroom environments following contamination control protocols. The technician will handle consumable materials with precision, ensure products meet rigorous quality specifications, and maintain ISO compliance. Accurate documentation of production activities, utilization of computer systems for data management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams are key aspects of this position. The role also includes supporting additional projects as assigned and contributing to a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.

Requirements

Basic manufacturing knowledge and experience
Ability to read, understand, and execute detailed SOPs
Proficiency with basic computer applications and manufacturing systems
ISO quality system awareness
Ability to stand for extended periods during shift duration
Capability to lift to 20 pounds regularly
Manual dexterity for precise handling of small components and materials
Able to work using repetitive movements
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Utilize computer systems for data entry, tracking, and reporting
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Support additional projects and duties as assigned by management
Contribute to a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment
