About The Position

A manufacturer in McElhattan, Pennsylvania, is hiring Manufacturing Packers for first- and second-shift work. Packers package products for sale to original and aftermarket customers, perform quality checks for physical defects, operate packaging equipment, and use an RF scanner. The role offers an opportunity to gain experience in a warehouse environment.

The schedule is Monday through Friday. First shift is 6:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; when overtime is required, the start time is 4:15 a.m. Second shift is 2:45 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; when overtime is required, the end time is 1:00 a.m. Pay is $15.70 per hour for first shift and $16.70 per hour for second shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to sit or stand for up to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use small hand tools, including tweezers, wire cutters, wire crimpers, screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons, and utility knives.
