About The Position

The Packer performs repetitive operations to package company products before shipping. The role promotes teamwork and supports team development while ensuring parts meet quality expectations before moving to the next operation or process. The work includes inspecting, wrapping, placing, marking, moving, and sorting products and materials, as well as cleaning containers and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including regularly lifting or moving up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect parts for cosmetic appearance and obvious non-conformities.
• Wrap parts in appropriate wrapping materials.
• Place wrapped parts in shipping containers.
• Mark and label products using marking tools.
• Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders using hand tools.
• Clean containers, materials, and supplies using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and support general company housekeeping.
• Report unsafe conditions to a supervisor or management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
