About The Position

The Packer performs repetitive operations to package Company products before shipping. The role supports teamwork and team development and ensures parts meet quality standards before moving to the next operation or process.

The employee visually inspects parts, wraps and packs them, marks and labels products, and handles products and materials using hand tools. The role also includes cleaning containers and supplies, maintaining a clean work area and general housekeeping, and reporting unsafe conditions to a supervisor or management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Ability to perform the listed physical duties, including regularly lifting or moving up to 10 pounds, frequently lifting or moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 75 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to wear safety glasses, earplugs, and safety shoes.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect parts for cosmetic appearance and obvious non-conformities.
• Wrap parts using appropriate wrapping materials.
• Place wrapped parts in shipping containers.
• Mark and label products using marking tools.
• Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders using hand tools.
• Clean containers, materials, and supplies using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the employee's work area and support general Company housekeeping.
• Report unsafe conditions to a supervisor or management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
